The house was loud, the breeze was so gentle, and the moon was crescent. I live near a mall, but sometimes in the proper mindset even that can be beautiful. Noticed a lot and thought a lot. Been writing a lot more poetry, this is the first I was comfy to share.

Philip is a dear friend of mine and actually wrote this piece as an assignment for school. I've done some interviews before, but really feel like this is the most beautifully written, and accurate portrayal of how I see a lot of things. We sat on the back-porch of my house drinking whiskey and playing chess, discussing music and life.
